HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAND KNIGHT

May 27, 2020

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT ALL PARISH MEETINGS ON CAMPUS FOR THE REMAINDER OF MARCH
HAVE BEEN CANCELLED OR POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
PLEASE USE CAUTION, BE CALM AND STAY SAFE.

Comfort us, O Lord, for we are like your disciples on the storm tossed seas, unsettled by what lies ahead.

We turn to You, our Healer and Guide, to still our hearts in our time of need and hear our prayer:

We turn to You, our Healer and Guide, to still our hearts in our time of need and hear our prayer:

Heal those who are sick with the coronavirus and protect the elderly and most vulnerable.

Give strength to all who tend to our health and wisdom to researchers who work toward a cure.

Open our eyes and hearts, as you did during Hurricane Harvey, that we may look beyond our immediate
needs to care for others who need help.

Through the Holy Spirit, guide our leaders to make wise decisions for the welfare of all the people they
    serve.

Grant eternal rest to those who have died from the virus.

May Mary, Our Mother, who has heard our pleas in the storms of our lives,

intercede to her Son, that we may find healing and a prompt end to this illness.

Mary, Star of the Sea, pray for us.

Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior, heal us.
AMEN.

Grand Knight's Message

Brother Knights,

I want to thank the council membership for giving me this opportunity to serve as your GK for this fraternal year which marks our 40th  year Anniversary!

Over those years I have lived through and witnessed some really amazing Council accomplishments!  Our Council has set some very high standards indeed and we will do our best to continue our traditions.

We thank our PGK Johnny Burkett for his leadership and dedication and special thanks for DGK Aboyi Olokpo for stepping up to fill-the-gap!    That is what KC teamwork is all about!

Going forward we will focus on the Faith in Action Programs (many spiritual)  and I ask that ALL support our Council Director’s to accomplish our Faith, Family, Community & Life goals.

We are known as the “GO TO”  charitable guys of our Parish!   I pray that our Faith Community also looks to us as spiritual leaders. This fraternal year I ask that ALL members step-up and get involved helping us.

One last thought… To the men of Sacred Heart Church:  Please know you are welcome and we ask that you consider joining our Richmond KC Council 7445.

Please feel free to contact me or any KC member.

Vivat Jesus!   Viva Cristo Rey!

GK Mark Stryk

Welcome to

the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston's

"All-Online"

Safe Environment Training & Background Check!

This program is required for anyone who works with a ministry that involves persons under the age of 18.

It is also highly recommended for people in all parish ministries and for parents of school-aged children.

CMGConnect replaces the VIRTUS training.

If you have previously completed the Protecting God's Children or Keeping the Promise Alive, it is not necessary to complete CMGConnect right now.

You will receive an email when it is time for you to renew your safe environment training!

It should take approximately an hour to complete all three sessions.

It is not necessary to complete them all at once. Work at your own pace!

Let's get started!

Click here to download the instructions, then come back to this page

and click the link below to access the CMGConnect website.
