The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization which is open to all men, eighteen years of age or older, who are practising Catholics in sacramental union with the Church.

See "Who We Are" for more information.

The first step is to meet or contact any Knight, and he will introduce you to an officer or the Admissions Director of the council of your choice.  If you do not know a Knight, just ask at your local parish office.  The application form is form 100 which is submitted to the council for acceptance.  The Admissions Director will ask a few questions to get to know you and your expectations, and then explain anything you want to know.

Joining, becoming a Brother Knight, is at the First Degree Exemplification.  This is a one-hour ceremony when much more will be explained to you.  Soon after, you will receive your membership card.  With your card, you may attend a Knights' meeting anywhere in the world.

There are further degrees to enhance your knowledge of the Knights, to enhance your commitment to the Knights and their objectives, and to enhance your fellowship with other brother Knights.

The Admissions Director for our council is Brother
Vince Alaniz, phone 832-508-8470, email vealaniz73@gmail.com

ONLINE
You can now join online at
www.KofC.org/JoinUs  Before you click the Join Us link, take a copy of the form you have completed, and if you do not hear back quickly, please contact any Knight or your parish office and show them the form.  Computer things can get lost, people can be very busy, or contact information can get miss- typed.

We hope we can welcome you soon.

IMPORTANT

For all the projects we carry out, it is required that Brothers take an archdiocese course with CMGConnect for the protection of our children.

Welcome to

the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston's

"All-Online"

Safe Environment Training & Background Check!

This program is required for anyone who works with a ministry that involves persons under the age of 18.

It is also highly recommended for people in all parish ministries and for parents of school-aged children.

CMGConnect replaces the VIRTUS training.

If you have previously completed the Protecting God's Children or Keeping the Promise Alive, it is not necessary to complete CMGConnect right now.

You will receive an email when it is time for you to renew your safe environment training!

It should take approximately an hour to complete all three sessions.

It is not necessary to complete them all at once. Work at your own pace!
