Brothers,
as Knights of Columbus we are called to vigorously defend the dignity
of each human being at every stage of life. I had the pleasure and honor
of recently visiting 40 Days for Life in Bryan. If you travel through
that area, you can visit them, just send an email (go to their website, https://www.40daysforlife.com/en/, click Contact, fill in the form and hit send) giving the day and time for your visit.
A
few years back, our council donated to support their memorial to the
unborn, specifically the babies who were aborted at that site when it
was a Planned Parenthood facility. 6,400 babies lost their lives there.
On
my visit, I found our plaque. There are also pictures of the prayer
garden and the Ebenezer stone; Ebenezer means "stone of help". Our
plaque is on the back of the stone along with other donated plaques.
The huge wall between the angels has 6,400 crosses on it representing the lost babies.
Please
remember as a Knight to pray and fast for an end to abortion and if you
