Q1   

What kind of things keeps men from not being involved with their children and family?      

    

     Fear of not doing the right thing?  

  • “Fathers, do not provoke your children, so they may not become discouraged.”  Colossians 3:21  
  • “I command you: be firm and steadfast! Do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD, your God, is with you wherever you go."  Joshua 1:9  
  • “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up with the training and instruction of the Lord.”  Ephesians 6:4  

 

   Not knowing where to go for advice?

  • “All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that one who belongs to God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”   2 Timothy 3:16-17  

  

   Work?    

  • “Toil not to gain wealth, cease to be concerned about it; while your glance flits to it, it is gone! for assuredly it grows wings, like the eagle that flies toward heaven. ”  Proverbs 23:4-5
